overflow

psalm thirty-two:

3 When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.

4 For day and night
your hand was heavy upon me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.

a friend of mine was baptized Sunday. actually, he is a man i only met once with friends -by chance- last summer but have kept in touch with & become better friends through social media & the pages of my blog. this blog. for through it, not I, but the Lord spoke to him, moved him, drew him closer and ultimately, led him to that beautiful step of obedience... and of faith. my sweet friend acknowledged me & thanked me, and for that I acknowledge God & thank Him for the miracle he did in me.. and I'm reminded of the privilege I have of sharing it with you... The whole world... And random strangers who become dear friends.

How can I keep silent?

"From the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks." [and I blog] Lk 6:45
